FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
For Busbar and terminal: For busbars, Al 1xxx series, Al 3xxxx series can be used, whereas for copper, Oxygen free Copper, Electrolytic tough Pitch (Cu-ETP) Copper are used.
For Battery Tray Welding, Al 6XXX and/or 5XXX series are suitable.
Depending on thickness of terminal and busbar, material and allowed heat input, we have to select between pulse Laser, QCW Laser or CW Laser
For battery terminal, it is not required, but in case of battery trays, if Aluminium 5XXX or 6XXX series is being used, depending on material to be welded, filler wire of Al 4XXX, Al 5XXX is required
